Action

As an independent group which guards the principles that protect authors and, accordingly, the influence of their creations, the ALAI is known as an official authority.

The Association is regularly invited and represented by eminent personalities in international meetings that deal with the issue of copyright. For example, the Conseil de l'Europe and other European Community authorities.

Having strong links with the OMPI and the UNESCO, the Association is often asked to express its opinion on projects being elaborated by these organisations as well as on the evolution of the Berne Convention and the Universal Copyright Convention.
